Butcher’s Burger Challenge Contest Rules
• Contestant must be at least 18 years of age.
• There will be no more than 3 contestants.
• Contestants must complete the online entry form to be selected, this form can be found at www.bluffmeatsupply.co.za
• Contestants may enter as many times as they desire.
• All contestants will need to be available by 10h30 to compete and any contestant who is more than 5 (five) minutes late will be disqualified.
• Each contestant will have to consume one (1) Butcher’s Burger, one (1) kg Chips & one (1) Litre Coke in twenty (20) minutes or less.
• All burgers will be prepared as per the standard process of Bluff Braai & Grill, although the contestant may add ketchup or mustard at their discretion.
• The winning contestant will be considered finished when a Judge confirms that the contestant has swallowed 1 (one) Butcher’s Burger, 1 (one) kg Chips & 1 Litre Coke.
• If vomiting occurs anytime during the contest, or within 1 minute after the contestant completes the 1 (one) Butcher’s Burger, 1 (one) kg Chips & 1 Litre Coke they will be disqualified.
• The fastest time for the first contestant to finish in twenty (20) minutes or less will be considered the winner.
• Only the one (1) winner will be selected.
• Partial contents will only be counted in the event of a tie.
• If a contestant vomits anytime during the contest they will be disqualified.
Grounds for disqualification include:
1. False or incomplete entry form or liability waiver.
2. Health risks that could jeopardize the contestant’s health or well being.
3. Under the influence of any substance.
5. Starting prior to the start signal.
6. Continuing to put food in the mouth after the ending signal.
7. Vomiting or regurgitating.
The contest is not open to employees of Bluff Meat Supply (PTY) LTD it’s subsidiaries or their immediate families.
