Ingredients
- 1 tbsp oil olive
- 1 large red bell pepper cut into thin strips
- 1 large green bell pepper cut into thin strips
- 1kg tenderised steak cut into thin strips
- 2 garlic cloves pressed
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger grated
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon corn starch
Method
Step 1: In a small bowl, whisk the sauce ingredients together and set aside.
Step 2: Preheat a wok or large skillet with oil over medium heat. Add the sliced bell pepper and cook until golden brown (about 3 minutes). Remove the peppers from the pan and set them aside.
Step 3: Turn the heat to high and add the beef strips to the pan. Cook the beef until it’s golden brown.
Step 4: Add the bell peppers back to the pan. Pour the sauce over the steak and veggies. Cook for an additional 2-4 minutes.
Step 5: Remove from heat and enjoy alongside your favourite grain or noodle!
